Excellent Results at the UKG National Competition Milton Keynes
For many this was their first competition in the UK and with 300 gymnasts gathering from all over the UK for this National event the Fort Regent Gymnasts did not only do themselves proud but also the coaches and the Club.

Rachelle Flambard crowned Hampshire County Champion on Sunday
Rachelle competed in the Hampshire Junior Challenge Competition which was hosted at Dynamo in Southampton.
She excelled on all four pieces of apparatus winning the gold medal for her bars with a score of 10.20 , she nailed a dynamic piked tsukahara vault to score 12.90 winning her second gold medal, she also performed her floor routine with some superb tumbling to win the silver medal with a score of 11.25 and a solid performace on the beam won her the bronze medal with a score of 9.80 She finished in overall first place to take the trophy and overall gold medal with a massive score of 44.15

22/23 ~ Hampshire County Grade passes for all and silver for Milly Crowder
| All eleven Regent GC gymnasts that entered the two day Hampshire County Grade event on 22nd and 23rd March gained passes, some returning with distinctions. They all competed exceedingly well including 10 year old Milly Crowder who finished in overall 2nd place to win the silver medal in her Grade 12 competition. |

Grade 14 - On the first days competition Esme Deer (8) and Summer Carstairs (7) competed in Grade 14. This was their first Hampshire competition and they both performed exceedingly will to gain a pass in this grade.
Grade 13 - On the following day Meaghan Walshe and Thalia Fletcher competed in Grade 13 gaining passes with some excellent individual apparatus work. Meaghan showed her strength on the vault scoring 12.10 and performed an excellent range and conditioning set to score 11.95. Thalia performed her best on the floor to score 11.50.
Grade 12 - Following on next to compete was Milly Crowder, Sarah Shah, Rhea Fletcher and Charlotte Neale who all competed in Grade 12 and against a field of 36 gymnasts. The first piece of apparatus was beam and all four gymnasts performed to their best. Milly showed some great height in her leaps and jumps, and a dynamic solid somersault dismount landed her in 2nd place with a score of 11.50. Sarah performed her routine with poise to finish in 4th place.
On floor the girls showed off their elegant dance and powerful tumbling skills with all four finishing in the top 5 places. Rhea’s score of 11.60 placed her 3rd, Charlotte & Sarah scored 11.50 (joint 4th) and Milly 11.20 (5th). On the vault Milly’s handspring showed some amazing height and dynamics to score 12.95. She just missed out on first place by 0.05 points to Lily Stephenson of Portsmouth. The other 3 gymnasts finished with scores over 12 with Rhea taking the 6th spot with a score of 12.50. The final piece of apparatus was bars where Milly came out top for Regent on this piece scoring 11.20.
When the final results were announced there were 8 distinctions out of the 36 competing gymnasts and Regent’s Milly Crowder and Sarah Shah were amongst these. Milly finished in overall 2nd place to gain the silver, Sarah placed 8th, with Rhea (15th) and Charlotte (18th) both gaining passes in this grade.

Grade 11 - The final round of the competition was Grade 11 in which Katie A’ Court, Olivia Dunlop and Samantha Neale were competing. All three gymnasts had a great competition with some excellent individual apparatus scores throughout. Katie’s dynamic vault finished her in 3rd place to score 12.20, Olivia came through strong on floor with her elegant dance to score 10.50 (6th place) and Samantha’s solid performance on beam gained her a score of 9.80. Once the results were announced Regent was the only club to have two gymnasts in the top eight who all gained a distinction. Katie finished in a creditable overall 6th place, Olivia 7th both with distinction and Samantha placed 16th with a pass.
Regent’s head coach Julia Falle said with the standard in the county rising all the time it was a great achievement for the gymnasts to finish amongst the top clubs in the county.
Milly, Sarah, Katie and Olivia will all now go on to compete in the Southern Region finals in April.
